Your people already know the job. Training should prove it.

Here's how we work, and what it looks like when we're done.

How we work

Four steps, with you reviewing along the way. Nothing disappears into a black box for three months.

  1. Listen

We start with what your people need to be able to do, and what's getting in the way. We talk with your experts and look at everything you already have.

  2. Sort it out

We decide what the material should become: a course, a video, a job aid, or a fix to what exists. You get a plan with objectives, format, and schedule before we build anything.

  3. Build it

Storyboards and scripts first, then development. You review at each stage, so changes happen early, when they're cheap.

  4. Make sure it works

We pilot it, check accessibility, set it up for your LMS, launch it, and look at whether it helped.

Or just the piece you need

Plenty of clients bring us in partway through. Here's where we usually step in:

At the start

Needs analysis, learning strategy, and curriculum architecture.

In the middle

Storyboards, scripts, narration, and course development.

Near the finish

Course review, accessibility fixes, assessments, and LMS setup.

Alongside you

Project management and SME coordination, start to finish.

Case study

From 16 hours in a classroom to a program that scales

A private security training provider

What they had

16 hours of instructor-led training

Taught live from a slide deck, one class at a time.

What we created

A scalable self-paced program

Structured lessons, practice, and assessments learners complete on their own schedule.

Client situation
A security training provider needed to train more licensing candidates without adding more classroom sessions.
What needed to change
The content was sound, but it depended on an instructor in the room. It needed a structure learners could follow alone, with practice and checks built in.
What we created
A full course architecture with instructional sequencing, realistic scenarios, assessments, narration, learner resources, and facilitator materials for blended use.
How it works
Learners move through short lessons in order. Each one ends with practice before a knowledge check, and narration carries the explanation an instructor used to give.
Deliverables
  • Curriculum architecture
  • Instructional sequencing
  • Scenarios
  • Assessments
  • Narration scripts
  • Learner resources
  • Facilitator materials
  • Online course delivery
Outcome
A program that can train candidates at scale with consistent quality, instead of one live class at a time.

More work, described carefully

Much of our work is covered by confidentiality agreements, so we describe projects without naming clients unless they've said yes. Ask us about work similar to yours and we'll tell you what we can.
